Stunning jewellery inspired by the colours of the seaside.
Firstly I create the glass ‘cabachons’ using a variety of coloured glass, super sparkly dichroic glass and sometimes frit (tiny pieces of glass) too. These get fired to 798 degrees. They are then cold worked to ensure there are no imperfections before their second firing of 750-760. After this I glue silver plated bails and attach high quality silver plated rope chains. Ear-ring attachments are hypo allergenic metal.
Each firing takes approximately 13 hours.
